『名前をつけてやる』は、初期のスピッツが持っていた“未完成の美しさ”を、そのまま封じ込めた一枚。

粗さの残るサウンド、どこか頼りないほどに繊細なメロディ。
けれどその揺らぎこそが、聴き手の内側に静かに入り込んでくる。まだ輪郭の定まらない感情に、言葉と音でそっと触れていくように。

後の洗練されたポップネスとは違い、この時期のスピッツはもっと内向きで、もっと個人的。
それは、誰にも見せていなかったノートの隅に書かれた詩のような質感。

Namae wo Tsukete Yaru captures the “unfinished beauty” that スピッツ held in their early days.
